Trip World Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The information we collect
Depending on the service you ask for, we may collect:
- Identity details — full name as shown on your passport, title, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport number and expiry date, and visa details.
- Contact details — postal address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Booking details — travel dates, destinations, flight and cruise itineraries, hotel and room preferences, seat and meal preferences, loyalty or frequent flyer numbers, and details of the other travellers in your party.
- Payment details — card or bank details used to pay for a booking, and records of payments made. Card details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Special category data — where it is necessary for your trip, information about health, mobility, dietary requirements or religious observance (for example when arranging assistance at the airport or an Umrah package). We only collect this where you provide it and where it is needed to fulfil your booking.
- Correspondence — enquiries, emails, messages and notes of telephone calls with us.
- Website data — technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, where our website or hosting provider records it.
If you give us personal data about another traveller, you confirm that you have their permission to do so and that you have shown them this policy.
3. Why we use your information, and our legal basis
- To arrange and manage your booking — including passing your details to airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, visa services and other suppliers. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To take payment and keep financial records. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and legal obligation for accounting and tax records.

- Special category data is used only with your explicit consent, or where processing is necessary for a legal claim.
4. Who we share your information with
To arrange your travel we must share your details with third parties, including:
- airlines, consolidators and ticketing agents;
- hotels, apartments and other accommodation providers;
- tour operators, Umrah operators and ground handlers;
- cruise lines and port agents;
- transfer, car hire and excursion providers;
- visa processing services, embassies and consulates;
- travel insurance providers, where you ask us to arrange cover;
- payment processors, banks and card acquirers;
- our accountants, IT and website hosting providers, and professional advisers;
- government departments, border agencies, police and regulators where we are required by law to do so.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
5. Transfers outside the United Kingdom
Travel is international by nature. To deliver your booking we often need to send your details to suppliers outside the UK, including countries that are not covered by UK adequacy regulations — for example Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Turkey, Pakistan or the United States. Where this happens, we transfer data because it is necessary for the performance of your booking contract, or we put appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses in place.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep booking and financial records for at least six years after the end of the tax year in which the booking took place, to meet HMRC and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are normally deleted within [12 months]. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
7. How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure, including access controls, secure storage of documents, and restricting access to staff who need it for their work. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously and review them regularly.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to delete data where we no longer need it;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- ask for your data to be transferred to another provider, where technically possible;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent; and
- opt out of marketing messages at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@tripsportalltd.com. We will respond within one month. Please note that if you ask us to delete data while a booking is in progress, we may not be able to continue arranging your travel.
9. Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies necessary for the site to function and, where enabled, basic analytics cookies provided by our hosting or analytics provider. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If we add advertising or tracking cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first.
10. Complaints
